About Me

I am a digital editor for Wisconsin Public Radio located in Madison, Wisconsin. I was unfamiliar with public radio before starting at WPR — it’s gradually and thoroughly grown on me.

Much of my time is now dedicated to promoting podcasts, such as my own with co-host Jena Emmert, “Say It Out Loud,” which is all about the (in)famous Twilight Saga. Other podcasts I’ve worked on, mostly in a digital visual and editorial sense, include “WPR Reports: Uprooted” and “WPR Reports: Mapped Out.” I also assisted with a partnership project through WPR and Wisconsin Watch: “Open and Shut.”

I graduated from Edgewood College in 2020, where I majored in English-Writing and minored in Gender Studies. I was editor of Edgewood’s student news outlet On The Edge News from July 18 to May 2020. On The Edge received eight awards under my leadership.

I’ve interned in digital editing for Wisconsin Watch and copy editing at the Wisconsin State Journal. I also provide freelance editing services.
